Art as a Spiritual & Healing Practice
Artistic expression has been recognized across cultures and throughout history
as a powerful pathway for spiritual connection and healing.
It is a practice that integrates multiple dimensions of our being:
mind, body, heart and soul.
Have you ever wondered what
Drawing & Artmaking
in community can reveal of you?

Reclaiming Vibrancy is a series of Shared Spaces
where creativity is combined with presence, courage and authenticity,
with the intention to allow the inherent beauty that exists within our human experience
to be expressed and witnessed.
Through my sensitive approach
I will invite you to slow down and connect deeply with yourself
to explore the field of an archetypal image that will anchor the flow
of your creative journey.
Bring all you need to play with colors and surfaces:
pens, pastels, crayons, pencils, ink, markers, paints and brushes,
any of your preferred art supplies.
All are welcome.
No previous art experience needed.
Come as you are and be surprised!
Reclaiming Vibrancy ~ Painting Vessels
May 2, 10am to 1pm PT, on Zoom
What you'll experience
A Three Hour Session
We will start with a gentle practice of connection to get to know each other.
Then, a warm up exercise to get your drawing body ready and present.
Through imagery and poetry, music and silence, we will enter and inhabit the creative field.
Different drawing & painting practices where you have permission to not be skilled at all, since you will be coming
from a deeper place.
You are welcome to join
multiple times
Designed as stand alones, Reclaiming Vibrancy sessions offer you the possibility of bringing a subject of inquiry to work on each time.
An intimate cohort with practitioners, creators, leaders, and sensitive beings.
Experience the profound shift that occurs when others name the beauty and strength they see at the heart of your creative expression.
A new Archetypal Image
each time
This is the idea.
However,
a powerful Archetypal Image that I offered before, may be invited in again.
No worries. You will know the Archetype before you register.
You may choose to deepen the work on your piece,
or you may start from a different perspective,
based on the same or a new archetypal image.
Meet your guide
Marcia Poppe
Art has been in my life as a means of expression ever since I was a child, and I am now thrilled to join you in this series I've created. As someone fascinated by human growth and development, I've seen how transformative it is when we allow our authentic expression to be held and reflected back to us, when we see our own beauty mirrored in community, in a shared safe space. Unexpected gifts emerge, we reclaim more of who we are.
